Regular Season:

Format:
112 teams, divided into 7 groups of 16 teams each (Groups 1-7) on regional basis.
Each team plays against all the teams from its own group twice - home and away - for a total of 30 games each, over 30 game weeks.
Players born on or after 1 January 1999 are eligible for participation.

Regional span:
Group 1: teams from Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria;
Group 2: teams from the Basque Country, Navarre, Aragon and La Rioja;
Group 3: teams from Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Castile–La Mancha;
Group 4: teams from Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla;
Group 5: teams from the Community of Madrid, Extremadura and Castile and León;
Group 6: teams from the Canary Islands;
Group 7: teams from Valencia, Murcia and Castile–La Mancha.

Scoring points:
3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.

Table order:
1. points won; 2. points in head-to-head matches; 3. goal difference in hth matches; 4. total goal difference; 5. total goals scored; 6. play-off.

Qualification for Final Stages (Copa de Campeones):
1 place of each group: qualify for the Final Stages
best 2nd placed team: qualifies for the Final Stages

Tie-breakers for determining best 2nd placed teams:
1. points won; 2. total goal difference; 3. total goals scored; 4. draw.

Qualification for Copa del Rey U18:
1-2 place of each group: Copa del Rey U18
best two 3rd placed teams: Copa del Rey U18

Tie-breakers for determining best 3rd placed teams:
1. points won; 2. total goal difference; 3. total goals scored; 4. draw.

Relegation from the league:
13-16 place of each group (groups 1-3 and 5-7): relegated to Liga Nacional Juvenil
15-18 place of group 4: relegated to Liga Nacional Juvenil

Promotion to the league:
28 teams from Liga Nacional Juvenil


Final Stages (Copa de Campeones):
------------

Format:
8 teams from the Regular Season contest the División de Honor Juvenil champion in a knockout format.
All Final Stages matches are played at a single neutral venue, chosen by the RFEF.

Quarter-finals:
8 teams are drawn into 4 pairs.
Winners are decided over one leg, with extra time and penalties if score is level after regular time.

Semi-finals:
4 teams are drawn into 2 pairs.
Winners are decided over one leg, with extra time and penalties if score is level after regular time.

Final:
The two Semi-finals winners meet each other with the winner becoming División de Honor Juvenil champion.
Winner is decided over one leg, with extra time and penalties if score is level after regular time.
